The siliceous rock flour
The innovative additive for all cement- and lime-based building materials. ROTOBASE® is a siliceous rock flour that is produced using special sieving techniques and a processing method developed by ROTEC®.
Due to its reactive properties, ROTOBASE® combines with the calcium hydroxide produced during cement hydration and forms cement-like C-S-H phases (calcium silicate hydrates). This leads to a noticeable improvement in the strength, durability and processing of mineral building materials.

ROTOBASE® in the three-component diagram
The three-component diagram shows the chemical composition of ROTOBASE® rock flour, which consists mainlyofSiO2,AI2O3 and CaO. The structure is glass-like and all components are firmly integrated into this glass.SiO2 is available in non-crystalline form for the pozzolanic reaction.
