HYBILAT® is a DEKRA-certified, environmentally friendly oil and chemical binding agent with high safety standards. It offers fast and reliable damage elimination in the event of spills or accidents involving mineral oil products and chemicals, with the protection of people and the environment taking centre stage. The requirements for binding agents are defined by the Federal Environment Agency.
Raw material and properties
HYBILAT® consists of natural, granular mineral granulate of volcanic origin (aluminium silicate) with a pore volume of 80 %. It requires little energy for processing and has an excellent ecological balance. With a bulk density of 280-350 g/l, it offers strong absorption and high holding capacity for almost all liquids. HYBILAT® is chemically neutral, non-toxic, stable and non-slip even when saturated with oil.
Application
HYBILAT® is sprinkled on generously and swept up after absorption. Before use, compatibility with the liquid to be absorbed must be checked. Disposal is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations. Oily floors should be softened with cleaning agents and then sprinkled with HYBILAT®. HYBILAT® is not flammable without liquid.
According to leaflet LTwS No. 27, HYBILAT® corresponds to oil binding agent type IIIR, confirmed by the Federal Ministry for the Environment and Nature Conservation. The Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr area has confirmed that HYBILAT®-MICRO is harmless in terms of occupational hygiene, and HYBILAT®-MICRO is DEKRA-certified.

Compared to conventional mineral binders, consumption is reduced by up to 1/3 of the amount previously used if the HYBILAT® application recommendation is followed.

HYBILAT-N®-STANDARD
Standard granulated Top-Absorbent Type IIIR Universal binder for many liquids
HYBILAT-N®-Standard 1.0 - 4.0 mm (5/18 mesh) is used universally for absorbing liquids such as oils, water, drilling emulsions, paints, acids and many more. 1 kg HYBILAT-N®-Standard covers a floor area of 12m2, a 50 litre container is sufficient for approx. 190m2.
HYBILAT-N®-Standard has a strong absorption capacity for all liquids due to its optimum bulk density.
